Top o’ pikes peak roast

INGREDIENTS

John's Farm Organic Pikes Peak Roast, 3-4 lbs

2 t. Fairview’s Best Fine Ground Seasoning

1 large purple onion, finely chopped

2-3 C beef broth/bouillon

2 T cornstarch

 

DIRECTIONS

Place thawed roast in crock-pot. Whisk cornstarch into broth. Pour broth over roast, leaving top of roast above liquid. Place chopped onion on top of roast and sprinkle seasoning on onion/meat. Cook on low setting for 8 hours. For dipping or to pour over roast slices, make sauce from broth. Place broth in saucepan, heat, stir in corn starch/water mixture to desired thickness.
